A convicted sex trafficker got no sympathy from a Manhattan judge on Friday as he begged for a lenient sentence, insisting his young daughter needed him.
“I hope that your daughter never runs into someone like you when she’s 18 or a teenager,” Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Ruth Pickholz said at the sentencing of convicted pimp Michael Lamb.
“I hope for her sake.”
Lamb, 36, the father of a 3-year-old, tried to recruit victims at homes for homeless and runaway youth with ads he posted on Craigslist and Backpage.
He received a six- to 18-year sentence for sex trafficking and promoting prostitution stemming from an illicit business he ran between January 2013 and September 2015.
